GATE CITY, VA - Gary Lynn Smith, 67 of Gate City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, August 9, 2019 at Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brad Bess officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Smith Family Cemetery.
