The Illinois Department of Transportation will begin patching and resurfacing projects on Routes 31 and 176 on Monday, both of which are expected to be finished by early November. Route 31 between James R. Rakow Road and Route 14 will receive patching and asphalt overlay. This work is expected to be finished by the end of November. Daytime lane closures will be in effect starting Monday, weather permitting.
