CHURCH HILL — Eight dogs were rescued from a Hawkins County residence near Church Hill on Friday morning where they had reportedly been abandoned for at least 11 days with no food or fresh water. A ninth dog was discovered dead at the residence located at 352 Payne Ridge Road, and now the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office is looking for the alleged owner.
