MOORESBURG - Betty Ruth Brewer, age 86, of Mooresburg went to her heavenly home on August 29, 2019. Betty was a member of Spruce Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Brewer; parents, Barrett Gordan and Archie Bowlin; great-granddaughter, Miley Ann Pait; granddaughter-in-law, Heather Miley; brothers, Bobby Gordan, Gary Bowlin, June Bowlin, Curt Bowlin, Randle Gordan; sisters, Ruth Collins, Vada (Tootsie) Johnson, Bonnie Walker, Roseavee Mills. She is survived by her children, Steve (Christine) Brewer, Mike (Vanica) Brewer, Tammy (Mike) Long, Bobby Brewer, Lisa (Charles) Miley; grandchildren, Alica Arnold, Brandy (Todd) Pait, Mark (Amber) Farmer, Rick Miley, Codi (Adraann) Miley, Steven Brewer, Tara (Brian) Stanley; great-grandchildren, Harley Arnold, Ozzy Sizemore, Summer Pait, Chase Pait, Emma Miley, Tucker Farmer, Ryder Pait, Luke Miley, Noah Miley; sisters, Faye Brewer, Diane Davis; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home.
