Police shot a suspect after getting into a gunfight with him outside of a public housing complex in Brooklyn on Tuesday evening, the NYPD said. The cops were on patrol near the Gowanus Houses just before 8 p.m. when they heard shots near the housing block on Baltic Street, police said.
