Here’s when you can finally get a glimpse of Denver Art Museum’s new galleries and restaurants

The public can get its first look at the results of Denver Art Museum’s years-long, multimillion-dollar renovation and construction project on June 6, 2020, when the museum unveils three floors of art galleries, classrooms, a restaurant and cafe, and its new, glass-walled welcome center. Officials announced the date today to mark the latest milestone in the $150 million project, which is timed to finish on the 50th anniversary of its iconic Martin Building — formerly known as the North Building. The June 2020 reopening of the Gio Ponti-designed structure will be the first of several “phased openings” of the renovated Martin Building.
