Comment on Barrington Hills fire leaves vacant house a "total loss"

A number of area fire departments responded to a structure fire in Barrington Hills that left a vacant, two-story single-family home a total loss. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District officials said.
