Comment on No injuries in crash involving Woodstock District 200 school bus, officials say

Icy road conditions caused a car to strike a Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 bus on Wednesday morning at Lake Avenue and Cobblestone Way in Woodstock. No injuries were reported from the crash, which happened at 8:07 a.m. Woodstock Police Deputy Chief Ray Lanz said a Mazda 3 sedan heading south on Lake Avenue toward Cobblestone was making a right-hand turn on roads that were icy and slick because of the freezing rain.
