Comment on 1st McHenry County robot-assisted knee replacement surgery performed in Huntley Hospital

Dr. John Daniels, medical director of the Hip and Knee Replacement Center at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital, has been training with robot-assisted knee replacement surgery technology for five years. On Wednesday, he became the first person to perform the procedure in the McHenry County area on 50-year-old Susanne McNicholas of West Dundee. The doctor said McNicholas would be able to go home approximately four hours after her surgery ended.
