Colorado family leave advocates pursue ballot measure in case lawmakers don’t pass it

A Colorado group is trying to put a measure on the state ballot asking voters to pass family and medical leave in case lawmakers don’t pass legislation this year. Colorado Families First took the first steps toward that effort Tuesday, filing two initiatives with the Legislative Council. A hearing is scheduled for Feb.
