In this era of deep partisan divides, policy change can be difficult. This is all too clear at the federal level and was, for many years, in Maine as well. But over the past five months I’ve had the refreshing opportunity to see both bipartisanship and policy progress as a member of the Commission to Study Long-term Care Workforce Issues.
