Rockies get rowdy with five-run seventh, rally past Giants to move to 9-3

The soundtrack told the story of the Rockies’ 6-4 win over San Francisco Thursday afternoon at Coors Field. Without fans, the ballpark is eerily quiet this season and was even more so when the Giants took a 3-1 lead in the seventh inning. The Rockies’ bench, usually as rowdy as a high school team, was subdued. But in the bottom of the frame came a run-scoring, pinch-hit double by second baseman Chris Owings, a pinch-hit, two-run homer by Daniel Murphy and another two-run homer by Charlie Blackmon.
