DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — A man who allegedly threatened his recently deceased son’s significant other with a firearm was found dead in his son’s residence following a six-hour standoff with police on Friday. Roger Hesketh, 79, died of apparent suicide, Dover-Foxcroft Police Chief Matt Grant said Monday. Police found his body Friday evening after obtaining a search warrant for the residence.
