Officials say an 86-year-old South Carolina man bled to death in his home after stepping into a glass vase and cutting his leg.Multiple media outlets reported that Guy Rexroad was found by his daughter about midday Tuesday.Officials think the retired U.S. Marine and retired sheriff's deputy apparently thought he could take care of the wound himself.Anderson County Deputy Coroner Don McCown says evidence shows Rexroad tried to tend to the wounds in the bathroom and then lay down on his couch.
