Did Earth Day Sell Out to Corporations?

Once upon a time, or 40 years ago, today was about challenging corporations and the government; now Earth Day is rife with corporate sponsors, according to the New York Times. NYC’s Gray Line, a sightseeing company, will offer trips to green spots in the city; FAO Schwarz has a penguin toy that promotes being green; and PepsiCo.
