It's the little things that count the most, Riverside Schools Director of Curriculum and Instruction Melissa Mlakar said.Over 50 Riverside School District administrators and teachers volunteered for the third annual "Community Kindness Day" on Aug. 11. "I didn't want it to be some big thing, I wanted it to be 2 to 2 ½ hours of us just being nice and making people smile," Mlakar said.
