WEST POINT – Sixteen suspected cases of sexual assault or sexual harassment have been reported so far in West Point's 2017-18 academic year, the military academy's superintendent told its Board of Visitors Friday.More than 50 cases were reported last year.And Superintendent Lt. Gen. Robert Caslen Jr. said in some of the recent years’ suspected cases, the accused was not another cadet, but a faculty or staff member.
