Connelly: Lawsuit Seeks To Block King County Vote On Safe Injection Sites

A newly formed group called Protect Public Health has gone to court, aiming to block King County from voting on Initiative 27, which would block creation of safe injection sites for drug users. It argues that voters "are in no position to weigh the scientific evidence or understand the impact" of blocking consumption sites.
