Construction Equipment To Steal Atm From Bank In Southwest Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating an incident in which robbers used construction equipment to steal an ATM from a local bank. At 4:20 a.m. Monday, a security company notified police that the ATM at UMB Bank on 290 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. was being stolen. The robbers in question used a front-end loader allegedly stolen from a nearby construction site to rip the ATM from the ground.
