SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say a car traveling on Interstate 89 northbound struck and killed a construction worker removing fog line markers on the highway in South Burlington. The accident happened at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police say 61-year-old Robert Stanhope of Richford was struck. An emergency medical service worker who was traveling north stopped to render aid.
