Cops: Stamford Career Burglar Faces New Charges

STAMFORD — An experienced burglar already accused of breaking into several downtown offices last year was arrested Monday after an investigation linked him to another 2016 incident, police said. Butler was brought Monday from the Bridgeport Correctional Center, where he’s being held on a combined $325,000 bond, and charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.
