Searchers recovered the partial remains of a human torso Sunday afternoon on White Oak Bayou, just a hundred yards from the 50-foot red steel sculpture in Stude Park in the Heights. Crime scene tape marked off the area as investigators tried to piece together what had happened just before hundreds of participants passed by on the Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer.
