FRISCO -- Anthony Hitchens and the Cowboys received good news Monday. The linebacker underwent an MRI to examine the groin injury he suffered early in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's blowout loss to Philadelphia. The diagnosis is a slight strain, Hitchens said, and he's operating as though he will be able to play Thursday against the Chargers. If he can, it will be a welcome windfall, and relief, to Dallas, which is expected to be without linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring) again."It was nothing major at all," Hitchens said.
