A crash involving spilled gasoline on Motor City Drive has the road blocked off Friday morning. Motor City Drive is closed at the 1100 block, near the Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City dealership and 8th Street, according to Colorado Springs police. The crash happened just before 4 a.m. when a fuel tanker truck hit a parked vehicle and rolled onto its side, spilling fuel on the road at a rate of 15 gallons per minute, according to a report by Gazette news partner KKTV. The spill allowed an unknown amount of gasoline to enter into the street's drainage system, police said.
