D-b Alum Nottingham Runner-up In Tennessee Amateur

OOLTEWAH — Dobyns-Bennett alum William Nottingham scored a runner-up finish at the 104th Tennessee Amateur Championship, which wrapped up Friday at The Honors Course. Nottingham, a senior golfer at Clemson, shot a 2-under 286 for the four-round tournament. The two-time Tennessee Junior Amateur champion finished one stroke behind winner Nolan Ray of Brentwood after a final round 1-under 71. Up by two shots at the start of the day, Ray extended his lead to five before holding off Nottingham, Tanner Owens of Milton and Luke Zieman of Nashville.
