The Emmy winner is joining Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti in the cable network's new drama pilot Billions, where the two actors will play dueling leads. Lewis' involvement must make Showtime happy, as the network coveted the actor during his stint on Homeland and reportedly did everything it could to keep the Brody character alive, despite the creators' original plan to kill him off in Season 1. The Sideways actor is best known for roles in films such as American Splendor, 12 Years a Slave and Cinderella Man, but he also won an Emmy for the HBO miniseries John Adams and recently appeared in a short arc on Downton Abbey.
