Stamford police released video of a suspect and witness in an apparently unprovoked beating of two young Darien women after leaving a downtown movie theater Friday night. The Darien women tried to run into a parking garage on Edith Sherman Drive, which runs from the Veterans Park along the back of the mall to its Tresser Boulevard entrance, but the garage was closed and the females following them caught up to the Darien women just outside the garage and attacked them. The police video shows one of the female suspects and a man, who appeared to be with her, riding a bicycle shortly before or after the attack.
