Da's Office Dismisses 90 Cases, Examining Dozens More, After Pct. 4 Evidence Fiasco

The Harris County District Attorney's Office is dismissing all pending drug cases connected to an evidence-destruction scandal at the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office. So far, the DA's office has dismissed approximately 90 felony and misdemeanor controlled substance cases investigated by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office after a deputy there improperly destroyed evidence from dozens of pending cases.
