CRYSTAL LAKE — The Crystal Lake Park District set a date to further discuss what has become the controversial Fetzner Park riparian restoration project. The meeting will take place 7 p.m. Oct. 5 in the lower level of the park district building, 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. The meeting will be held "to address concerns and to provide further information about the project," according to a post on the park district's site. On Thursday, the park district stopped work on the project due to numerous complaints from resident who live near Fetzner Park.
