Deq Wants Judge To Rule Flint Council Water Vote Endangers Public Health

"As a result of the City Council's action to further delay a decision and not present a reasonable alternative, the (Michigan Department of Environmental Quality) will be asking the court to step in and make a determination to assure public health is protected for the residents of Flint moving forward," Tiffany Brown, a spokeswoman for the DEQ, said in an email to MLive-The Flint Journal.
