The board of MEAG Power voted unanimously Monday to continue construction of Plant Vogtle Units 3 and 4, a major blow to JEA's attempt to cap its ballooning financial obligations to the construction of a nuclear power plant in Georgia that is years behind schedule and billions over budget. The plant's other owners, Georgia Power and the City of Dalton, also voted to continue.
