FLINT, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Institute of Arts says it's saying "Thanks" to the people of Michigan for the state's help in preserving the museum's internationally renowned collection during the city's passage through bankruptcy. The institute announced Wednesday that it's sending the oil painting "The Nut Gatherers" for exhibitions in Flint and Midland.
