Disney has announced that over 10 million subscribers signed up for Disney+ on its first day of operation. The company's announcement comes shortly after new data revealed that the Disney+ mobile app was downloaded 3.2 million times within the first 24 hours of the streaming service's launch on November 12. Variety reports that research firm Apptopia broke the data down across the three territories that had access to Disney+ at launch, estimating that 89% of the 3.2m downloads came from the United States, 9% stemmed from Canada and 2% emerged from the Netherlands.
