Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump will come to Newport for a fund-raiser on Friday, the state’s Trump campaign chairman confirmed Monday.Rep. Joseph A. Trillo, R-Warwick, provided a copy of the invitation, in which Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and others "invite you to an evening event" with Trump in Newport.
