Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies were involved in a shooting — and someone was taken to a hospital — on Wednesday, but officials would not say whether that person was shot.

Just after 4 p.m., the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office warned on social media about a heavy police presence in the 4500 block of South Himalaya Circle, just south of Aurora and east of Quincy Reservoir.
One victim was taken to the hospital, but the sheriff’s office could not immediately confirm the nature of their injuries, spokesperson Ginger Delgado said.

That Gomber is long gone.
On Wednesday afternoon at Petco Park, he blanked the Padres for six innings as the Rockies rolled to an 8-0 victory, their seventh consecutive win.
