FLAT ROCK, N.C. (AP) — Duke Energy officials have laid out their case for a new high voltage transmission line from Upstate South Carolina to the Asheville area. Multiple media outlets reported that about 1,000 people crowded Henderson County's Blue Ridge Community College to hear five Duke officials explain the plan.
