Duke Lays Out Case For Power Line In Western Carolinas

FLAT ROCK, N.C. (AP) — Duke Energy officials have laid out their case for a new high voltage transmission line from Upstate South Carolina to the Asheville area. Multiple media outlets reported that about 1,000 people crowded Henderson County's Blue Ridge Community College to hear five Duke officials explain the plan. Duke says it needs the 230-kilovolt line to meet electricity demand in the region.Read more on NewsOK.com
