Durable Goods Orders Hint At Broadening Recovery

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New orders for long-lasting U.S. manufactured goods rose 1 percent in September, Commerce Department data showed on Wednesday, suggesting that the economy's wobbling recovery from recession may be steadying.
