Dwight Yoakam says the biggest link between his latest album, “Second Hand Heart,” and his 1986 debut, “Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc.” is an attitude he brought to the projects — a spirit, as he put it, of “reckless abandon, mischief-making and fun” that reminded him of why he wanted to make music in the first place.
