East Hamilton Stops South's Run At State

MURFREESBORO — East Hamilton and the Hayes sisters ended Sullivan South’s run at a state volleyball championship. The Lady Rebels fell in four sets, 22-25, 13-25, 25-21, 22-25, in a TSSAA Class AA elimination match at Middle Tennessee State on Wednesday. South closed out its season at 32-12 after winning a 10th consecutive conference title and eighth consecutive region crown. “They were a good team and they’re probably just as seasoned as we are,” South coach Wendy Ratliff said of East Hamilton.
