By David Wheeler Special to the Journal CORINTH – Players from big schools on the East side of Highway 45 certainly had their hitting shoes on for the final high school baseball game of the season in this corner of the state. The late game of the 25th NEMCABB (Northeast Mississippi Coaches Association for Better Baseball) Saturday was the Class 4A-6A matchup, which the East Squad won handily 13-1. “It was great the way this team came together, they wanted to go out on a positive note their last high school game,” said Itawamba AHS head coach Brian Long, the East head coach.
