CEDAR RAPIDS — The Eastern Iowa Airport will be purchasing new snow removal equipment earlier than anticipated, taking advantage of a discount offered by an Ames dealer.Don Swanson, airport director of finance and administration, told the Cedar Rapids Airport Commission on Monday that Trans Iowa Equipment offered to sell two “demonstrator” Oshkosh multifunction snow plows with tow-behind brooms for $1,330,813.
