After the Vikings (3-9, 2-6) closed to 35-27 on Kieran McDonagh's third TD pass, Eastern scored three quick TDs on a long pass to Copper Kupp, a 90-yard kickoff return by Shaq Hill and a pick six covering 73 yards by Tevin McDonald.
