Economists: Corporate Relocations To Texas Will Intensify Under Trump

The wave of corporate relocations to North Texas will intensify under a Donald Trump presidency — not necessarily because of his policies but due to an overall improvement in the economy. That’s the opinion of economists in a 2017 forecasting conversation at Southern Methodist University Friday morning. “It’s going to accelerate,” said Bernard “Bud” Weinstein, associate director of the Maguire Energy Institute and adjunct professor of business economics.
