Education Management Shares Drop 46 Percent

Education Management Corp. plunged 46.09 percent to end Friday trading at 62 cents per share. It was not the deepest drop of the day for the Pittsburgh-based company, which hit a new 52-week low of 41 cents. On Thursday, Education Management (Nasdaq:EDMC) announced it plans to voluntarily delist shares from Nasdaq.
