Edwin Jackson, Nationals Nearing Deal

The Nationals are nearing an agreement with right-handed starter Edwin Jackson, who traveled to Washington this afternoon to receive a physical, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. Jackson gives the Nationals six potential starting pitchers, with John Lannan likely the odd man out.
