El Paso art icon Bill Rakocy, a man known to many simply as "Rak," past away this weekend. Rakocy, who spent more than 60 years being inspired by the Southwestern sunsets and the desert landscape, died Saturday afternoon from congestive heart failure, his wife Gloria Canterbury-Rakocy said Sunday.
