One of the largest shareholders in Encana Corp. is urging Canadian investors to join him in opposing the relocation of the company’s headquarters from Calgary to Denver. Peter Letko, co-founder of Letko, Brosseau & Associates Inc., which has a 4% stake in the petroleum company, called the move to Denver “highly discriminatory” against Canadian investors. “This is an example of very poor corporate governance,” Letko told Bloomberg in an interview.
