Back in March 2013, producer Joel Silver announced that an Escape from New York reboot is in the works, although we haven't heard anything about the project since then. According to a new report from Starlog, Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam is the front runner to play the iconic Snake Plissken, with Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) and Dan Stevens (The Guest) also in contention.Snake will reportedly be leading a team in this reboot.
