Ex-police Chief In Utah Rejects Plea Deal In Stalking Case

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A proposed plea deal for a former Utah police chief accused of stalking three women has fallen apart during a court hearing. Defendant Thomas Wade Butterfield entered a guilty plea on Monday in Duchesne to one misdemeanor count of stalking in exchange for the dismissal of four other charges.
