(AP) — Former Rayville Public Works Director Arad Lorenzo Brown faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of malfeasance in office. Wheeler said Louisiana State Police conducted the investigation, which was triggered by a state legislative audit alleging Brown used inmate trusties on a work-release program from the Richland Parish Detention Center to do work on private residences for Brown's personal gain.
